"Our first visit The Rookwood - and it won't be our last! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the hospitality of our hosts. We were greeted each morning by the welcoming fragrance of fresh coffee and cinnamon - Steve's delicious apple crisp!

Our room was comfortable and quiet. The bed was especially comfortable and we woke each day refreshed and relaxed. The living room with its blazing fire and comfortable chairs for reading (or dozing) were appreciated at the end of a hard day's shopping (The Rookwood is minutes from the outlet center) and afternoon tea (more of Steve's delicious goodies) just hit the right note."

"An excellent Valentine's Day weekend. From red roses, to Valentine chocolates, to chilled champagne, Steve and Amy were the perfect hosts. Along with a blazing fire at the hearth, we were treated with a lovely and eclectic selection of music, including an impromptu piano recital. Steve's cooking and baking were the "icing on the cake." Thank you both for a great time."

"Dear Rookwood,

I like your inn very much. The decorations are really pretty. I liked the cereal. The music tapes are nice. The Christmas tree is very pretty. And the piano makes a nice sound when my mommy plays it. I also like the white lights outside. I hope to come visit again. "
