Awaken each morning to our renowned breakfasts. We offer a full, buffet style breakfast with one hot entrée, selected by the chef, daily. Breakfast entrées alternate between a sweet and a savory dish. At all times, attention is paid to cooking heart-healthy entrees that do not sacrifice taste. We are sensitive to the growing special dietary needs of our guests and are happy to meet specific dietary restrictions and allergies. As the innkeeper says, “we specialize in special diets.”

The Rookwood Inn’s ideal location, is just a block from the downtown, but on a quiet, less traveled street. Walk or ride to town to shop or dine, view the sculptures throughout the village, enjoy a concert or craft show  in Lilac Park or take in a movie at the library. Our location is perfect in all seasons. In the winter, guests may find themselves curled up in front of a fire, reading or playing a board game. In the summer guests enjoy the two porches (the side, screened one off the living room and the front veranda overlooking the gardens). We have benches in the garden amongst our Victorian pergola and flower beds.
